Sizes in European, this style fits true to size in length.  The width is best suited for an average to above-average-width foot, with the stretch straps allowing for a bit extra in-depth if needed.  If you have the sort of foot that floats between two sizes, and you prefer your sandals end to end, you will likely prefer the smaller size of the two.
