Sized in European, they fit true to size for length.  The toe box tapers to nearly a point, so the width will not be as generous as as98 flat or moto boots.  The width is best suited for an average to slightly above average width foot.  The full zipper curves, making for a somewhat snug fit in both the ankle and instep.  If either of these areas is a concern for you, it is likely best you try this boot on in person.

As for calf width, the size 36 sample measures 14.75″ in circumference at the top of the 15″ tall shaft, noting that the shaft width will increase slightly with each foot size.
